All the work related to programming a dongle is done through the Mask Editor. Using the Editor you can:

  • Load the mask into the Editor from the database or file
  • Edit structure and contents of the mask
  • Save the current mask into a database or file
  • Write data into the connected dongle
  • Update the dongle using the loaded mask data

While working in the database mode the following windows are added to the Mask Editor: Database tools and Dumps, which are described in Section GrdUtil.exe Database.

The Mask Editor is organized in the form of a table, where the lines form the memory fields of (one line for each field) and columns – field parameters:

Locks

Hardware locks set for the current memory area

Type

Type of information contained by the field.

Possible values: hardware algorithm, protected item, license table, integer, string, counter, dump

NameAny valid name of the field
ValueShows the contents of the field

Field color coding
